  • 4 Laennec stethoscopes.
  • 4 Stethoscopes. A- perhaps Duckworth's, B- Duckworth's, signed Maw. C- Fergusson or Stoke's type. D- obtained from France.
  • 5 Stethoscopes. A- very small, B and C- obtained from Italy. D- bell shaped. E- not unlike a french type.
  • Stethoscopes. A- perhaps Stoke's type with ivory ear plate. B, C, D, -probably all English versions of the Piorry stethoscope dating from 1830s to 1840s.
  • 6 portable stethoscopes. Robert's circa 1885, D and E- are similar to examples illustrated by Krohne and Sesemann, 1901
  • 4 Stethoscopes. A- small, funnel-shaped, lined with brass. B- obatined from Italy. C- obtained from Italy. D- bell shaped, probably 1850s to 1860s. E- probably Stoke's type.
